It will be located next to the Sabarmati River, 12 km north of Ahmedabad and 8 km South of Gandhinagar, the political capital of the state. It will be built on 500 acres of land. Its main purpose is to provide high-quality physical infrastructure so that finance and tech firms can relocate their operations there from Mumbai, Bangalore, Gurgaon and other.

Gujarat Tourism has launched Amitabh Bachchan as their brand ambassador to promote tourism in Gujarat, they filmed ads with him in places like Dwarka, Kutch, Gir and Somnath.”KHUSHBOO GUJARAT KI” is the tagline of Amitabh Bachchan that means “THE FRAGRANCE OF GUJARAT”. There is also a line called” Kuch din to Guiaro Gujarat mein”…  for inviting people to come visit Gujarat.

STATUE OF UNITY

The Statue of Unity is the world’s tallest statue, with a height of 182 meters (597 feet), located near Kevadia in the state of Gujarat, India. It depicts Indian statesman and independence activist Vallabhbhai Patel (1875–1950), who was the first deputy prime minister and home minister of independent India and an adherent of Mahatma Gandhi. Patel is highly respected for playing a significant role in the political integration of India. The statue is located in Gujarat on the Narmada River in the Kevadiya colony, facing the Sardar Sarovar Dam 100 kilometers (62 mi) southeast of the city of Vadodara.

WHAT IS THE LOGO OF GUJARAT TOURISM?

Gujarat Tourism Corporation has changed its symbol almost silently. The earlier logo of Gujarat Tourism was ‘Toran’ which is tied at the entrance of Gujarati houses to welcome the guests. However, the logo of ‘Toran’ has been replaced by a new logo that features the side-face of Gir Lion. This logo shows the pride of our Gujarat.

New logo has replaced the old one not in Amitabh Bachchan ads promoting Gujarat Tourism. Gujarat Tourism’s official website too features a new logo, replacing the old one.
